Welcome To

Brigantine Elks Lodge #2428

March 5, 2010

  $50.00.  'Nuff said about that!

The Lenten menu continues for Friday Night Food.  It's amazing how good non-meat meals can be.  Check them out until after Easter.  Volunteers are always needed to help prep, cook, serve and clean up.  The board is posted in the Lounge.  Thanks.

Checking my calendar sees March 13th as the annual Saint Patty's Day Parade and party.  You don't need to be Irish to enjoy this day.  This year Harry will lead the Brigantine contingent down the boards in A.C.  Be sure to wear something green.

A couple of weeks later, on Palm Sunday March 28, the Grand Lodge officers will be Installing our new slate of Lodge officers for Lodge year 2010-2011.  The ceremony will begin at 4 PM.  Afterwards will be the usual awards and we will find out who the Elk of the Year, Officer of the Year and Citizen of the year are.  Dinner will follow.  We invite all our friends and neighbors to join us in this celebration of rebirth!

The following Friday, April 2, is the annual Good Friday Fish Fry.  Chef Tom Tucker and his crew have a new and improved menu this year.  Check our web site for it at www.brigantineelks.com.  The following day is the Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.  There is a signup board posted in the Lounge.

Last, but not least, is Nashville Night on Saturday April 17th.  Chairman Augie guarantees a cow chip kicking good time.  Tickets should be available shortly.  Get yours ASAP because this event sells out quickly.      Only two weeks to Spring!  Bye, George.
