Hoop Shoot |
A fun youth activity which takes place in late November every year. There is always plenty of help on hoop shoot day. Planning and prep could always use a boost.

Soccer Shoot |
Another youth activity the shoot takes place in early September. We did not participate last year. This committee needs a chairman along with additional committee members.

The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3.64 million in college scholarships each year through its three scholarship programs. Our Lodge not only participates nationally but gives out awards to relatives of members of our lodge. The application process and deadlines vary for each program. All applications must go through a local Elks Lodge before reaching the Elks National Foundation office. Contact your high school counselor for more information or your local Elks Lodge.

The cub scouts hold their monthly pack meetings at our lodge the second Thursday of each month.

Elks Lodge #2428 supports Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey (GSCSNJ) Troop #16537. The troop holds its regular meetings at our lodge. |




om local youth groups; including: Girl Scouts; St. Thomas Alive; Crossroads; and Kids for South Jersey Cancer Fund, and a representative from the Student Council, that meet monthly to discuss what each group is doing and to see how they might support each other's work. They also discuss ways that they might work together to support the community and current Elks Programs.
